Jezerane is a village in the County of Lika-Senj , Croatia with 375 inhabitants. It is located on the southern slope of the Mala Kapela mountain range . The village belongs to the large municipality of Brinje .

geography

Jezerane is located in the north of the agricultural Lika , in the north-eastern part of the Brinje district. The municipality borders on the villages of Križ Kamenica , Križpolje , Stajnica . 10 km northeast of Brinje. Jezerane is located on the historically significant Josephina Street (Josephina, Jozefina), a former salt road that connects central Croatia with the sea ( Karlovac with Senj ).

Jezerane was once called Jezerin. It was first mentioned in 1476.
