Jiří Leňko (born April 29, 1985 in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou ) is a Czech football player with an Austrian passport.

Career

Leňko began his career in the youth teams of FC Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou and FC Miroslav. From 1999 to 2004 he played with the Rapid Amateurs , where he was even promoted to the first team in 2004. Leňko came on May 21, 2005 in the game against SV Austria Salzburg at halftime for Florian Sturm in the game. Another game followed. With these two missions he was part of the 2004/05 master squad. In the following year he left Vienna and moved to Kapfenberger SV .

After a year he moved to 1. FC Brno . Then it went back to Austria and Leňko played again for a year at ASKÖ Pasching in the Upper Austrian regional league. In 2008/09 he went to Bulgaria and played for Lokomotive Mesdra for a year . From 2009 to 2011 he played for SKN St. Pölten in the first league , the second highest league in Austria, before moving to league competitor SV Grödig in summer 2011. Since summer 2012 he has been back in the Bundesliga for SC Wiener Neustadt .
