Bausenhagen is a district of Fröndenberg / Ruhr , district of Unna , with more than 500 inhabitants.

geography

It is located in the east of the urban area in the southern part of the Haarstrang at an altitude of 171 meters above sea level.

The state road 881 and the district road 35 run through the village . In the north the federal highway 44 and the federal highway 1 pass.

history

Bausenhagen is the oldest place in the city of Fröndenberg. The place was first mentioned in a document in 993.

In the 18th century coal was dug in the district .

On January 1, 1968, the formerly independent municipality came under the law to reorganize the district of Unna to the city of Fröndenberg.

Infrastructure

In Bausenhagen there are two sports fields, an airfield for model airplanes, a recording studio, two churches with cemeteries, a restaurant and a Catholic Marienheim.

Bausenhagen has a bus connection with which you can drive to Unna or Fröndenberg every hour .

There are several clubs in Bausenhagen: the Grün-Weiß Bausenhagen (football) sports club with the popular sports department, the Spielmannszug Bausenhagen e. V. and the shooting club parish Bausenhagen.
