Sports

Handball

The handball club TUS Germania Stentrop had a large field handball field near the center of the village since the 1960s. However, the training was moved to the halls of the Fröndenberg Comprehensive School due to the conversion of the playing field. The handball court was converted into farmland in 2000.

Soccer

The football club Stentroper Kickers was founded in 1993 at Henrichsknübel and was based on 13 club members. Due to the insufficient number of members and a lack of sponsors, the club was closed in 1999. The majority of the club members switched to SV Bausenhagen .

economy

The largest industry of Stentrop is agriculture, which accounts for around 90%. The Haus der Mitte as a hostel in the center of the village and the three wind turbines of the Henrichsknübels enrich Stentrop with the branches of the hospitality industry and energy generation.
