Warmen is a district of the Westphalian city of Fröndenberg / Ruhr , Unna district , with almost 900 inhabitants.

Warm is to the east of the city. The Ruhr forms the southern border of the place.
Neighboring communities
In 1967, Warmen bordered in a clockwise direction in the west on the communities Frohnhausen and Bentrop (both in the Unna district ) as well as Wimbern and Schwitten (both in the Iserlohn district at that time ).
history
When the offices were set up in the Prussian province of Westphalia, Warmen was part of the Fröndenberg office in the Hamm district . On the occasion of the city of Hamm on April 1, 1901, the district became the district of Hamm. After an area expansion in 1929, this was renamed the Unna district in October 1930 . On January 1st, 1968 Altendorf, Bausenhagen, Frohnhausen, Frömern, Langschede, Neimen, Ostbüren, Stentrop, Strickherdicke and Warmen were incorporated into Fröndenberg.

The state road L 673 connects Warmen in the west with Frohnhausen , Neimen , Fröndenberg / Ruhr , Langschede , Dellwig , Geisecke , Schwerte , Westhofen and Garenfeld and in the east with Bentrop and Wickede (Ruhr) .
