Bentrop is a village with more than 300 inhabitants that belongs to the city of Fröndenberg / Ruhr and the Unna district.
geography
The river terraces to the right of the Ruhr and the heights of the western hairline shape the surface of the place.
history
It was largely incorporated into the town of Fröndenberg on July 1, 1969. A small area of the former municipality with the former Scheda monastery now belongs to Wickede (Ruhr) .

Attractions
The rest of the Hünenknfer Castle is on a slope above the Ruhr . In the town center, the former school bell is in a bell tower and rings every evening at 6 p.m.
