Hohenheide (Fröndenberg)
Coordinates: 51 ° 29 ' N , 7 ° 47' E Hohenheide is a locality in the city of Fröndenberg / Ruhr with about 1500 inhabitants. The place belongs to the core town of Fröndenberg and is only indicated by signs . The location is northeast of the city center on the Haarstrang . The neighboring villages (clockwise) Frömern , Ostbüren , Bausenhagen , Stentrop and Frohnhausen were incorporated in 1968 and therefore have the status of districts .
Hohenheide has its own sports facility ( Ascheplatz ) and its own shooting club , as well as its own shooting group and a bakery. There is also a hotel-country inn and a restaurant on the Hohenheide. The Hohenheide Schützenfest always takes place in August.
There is also a small industrial area on the Hohenheide.
