Jiah Khan
Jiah Khan ( Hindi जिया ख़ान ; born February 20, 1988 as Nafisa Khan in New York City ; † June 3, 2013 in Mumbai , India ) was an Indian actress .
Khan was born in New York and raised in London . She made her Bollywood film debut in 2007 in the female lead in Ram Gopal Varma's drama Nishabd , a film adaptation of Vladimir Nabokov's novel Lolita . This was followed by a role in the action film Ghajini (2008) on the side of Aamir Khan and in 2010 a supporting role in the comedy Housefull with Akshay Kumar .
In 2010 she was supposed to take on the lead role in the film Chance Pe Dance - Dance for Your Happiness , but was fired while filming. Her role was taken on by Genelia D'Souza .
On June 3, 2013, Jiah Khan was found hanged in her home in Mumbai.
