action

Kathy Berger is the single mother of 16-year-old autistic Jimmie, a non-speaking person who is passionate about swimming. When the swimming coach Jan Ambühl discovered Jimmie's talent for swimming, he hired him as a motivator for his freestyle relay. But Jimmie is not accepted by the swimmers.

reception

The film received the “Prix Swissperform” for the best Swiss television film at the Geneva film festival Cinéma Tout Ecran . The jury justified this with the independent visual language, the good dramaturgical timing and the credible actors. Joel Basman and Stefanie Japp received the prizes for the best male and female leading role.
