Life

Before he became a politician, he studied political science , philosophy and law at Lund University from 1999 onwards . He was elected party chairman to succeed Mikael Jansson in 2005, threw some skinheads out of the party and created a bourgeois image of the party. In the 2018 election campaign , the SD called for a stricter refugee policy and the use of the military against criminals. The party also campaigned against same-sex marriage and called for a referendum on leaving the EU .

He lived with SD politician Louise Erixon (born 1989) and their son (born 2013) in Sölvesborg , where he grew up. The couple separated in spring 2020.
