João Pedro Gomez da Silva (born April 25, 1996 ) is a Brazilian soccer player who also has Spanish citizenship.

Career

Pedro grew up in Aparecida and started playing football at Gremio Osasco Audax . In 2013 he moved to Coimbra EC . He later switched to the youth of Atlético Mineiro on loan .

After three weeks of trial in December 2014, Pedro moved to the second division FC Liefering in Austria on loan at the turn of the year 2014/2015 . Already on his first appearance, a test match against WSG Wattens , he was able to enter himself into the list of goalscorers. By the end of the 2014/15 season he made eleven appearances in the second division and scored six goals, including a brace in his second game against FC Wacker Innsbruck . In January 2016 he traveled for the on malaria diseased Naby Keita into the winter training camp of FC Red Bull Salzburg. However, he did not play a competitive game. By the end of his loan, he played 32 league games for FC Liefering and scored nine goals.

In July 2016 Pedro returned to his homeland, where he was awarded to the second division club Oeste FC . After two games, he initially returned to Coimbra before moving back to Austria in January 2017, where he joined the second division club SC Austria Lustenau , where he received a contract valid until December 2017. After his contract expired, he left Lustenau. He then returned to Brazil, where he joined the fourth-rate Maringá FC .

In July 2018 he moved to Sweden for the second division club Östers IF .
