Joël Fabrice Thomas (born June 30, 1987 in Caen ) is a French football player . The striker has been under contract with FC Dordrecht since summer 2016 .
Career
In 2007 Thomas moved from his French homeland to the second team of 1. FC Kaiserslautern , which played in the Oberliga Südwest . At the end of the season he and his team qualified for the newly created regional league , but only made four appearances. In the summer of 2008, the Scottish first division club Hamilton Academical signed him . With the promoted he managed to stay in the class in the 2008/09 season . Then Colchester United brought him to the third English division, Football League One . In Colchester he could not assert himself, so that he was loaned back to Hamilton Academical in January 2010. After the 2009/10 season could be held again in the league, he returned firmly to Scotland. In the following season, however, he hardly got a chance, turned his back on the club in early 2011 and hired Ionikos Nikea in the second Greek league, the Football League . There he came to three goals in nine games, but could not prevent the relegation of his club. After the end of the season he moved to Apollon Smyrni in the Football League 2 .
In the summer of 2012, CS Turnu brought Severin Thomas into the Romanian league 1 . He was able to establish himself as a regular with the promoted team, but missed staying with the club in the 2012/13 season . He then moved to Dinamo Bucharest . After he missed the first half of the 2014/15 season due to an injury, his contract was terminated in January 2015. In September 2015 Thomas joined CA Bastia in the French National . At the end of 2015, he terminated his contract. In early March 2016 he moved to the Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship . There he missed promotion with his team in the play-offs. In August 2016 he joined the Dutch second division club FC Dordrecht .
