Joëlle Tuerlinckx (* 1958 in Brussels ) is a Belgian video and object artist .
“Tuerlinckx's art is based on long-lasting engagement with simple things; Finds or objects of daily use that cross her path and have been consistently collected by her in a comprehensive archive for three decades. In her exhibitions Tuerlinckx arranges large numbers of wall and floor objects, drawings and collages, showcases and book series, films, videos and slide projections into polyphonic and speculative ensembles, the themes of art with philosophical questions about the nature and relationship of time, Combine place and language. "
