Life
Allen began her film staff career in 1995 on British television. Her first feature film was Basils Liebe by Radha Bharadwaj in 1998 . After further films, including Ridley Scott's Hollywood - blockbuster Gladiator , she received in 2003 for The Hours - from eternity to eternity nominated for a BAFTA Film Award in the category Best mask . 2005 she was for Alejandro Amenábar's drama The Sea Inside , together with Manolo García for the Oscar in the category Best Makeup and Best hairstyles nominated; however, the adventure film Lemony Snicket won that year . At the Goya Awards held in the same year, however, she received the award in the Best Mask category .
In 2015, Allen wrote, directed and produced the short film The Prison Web .
