Joachim Aeschlimann
Joachim Aeschlimann (* 1987 in Zurich ) is a Swiss actor .
Live and act
Joachim Aeschlimann grew up in Zurich. He appeared publicly in various theater plays while still at school, for example as Prince Edward in a production by Stefan Puchers of William Shakespeare's Richard III. at the Schauspielhaus Zurich .
After his baccalaureate exam Joachim Aeschlimann takes in 2007 first a teacher training program for primary school at the Institute Unterstrass on which he successfully closes of 2010. In the same year he wrote and illustrated Alles nur Theater , a subject with exercises from the field of theater education .
In 2011 he began studying acting at the Zurich University of the Arts , which he completed with a master’s degree in 2017. During his studies he received the Migros Culture Percentage Study Prize in the Acting Department in 2012 and the Armin Ziegler Foundation Study Prize one year later. Since 2012 he has been increasingly seen in TV and cinema productions, for example in the Swiss feature film Ziellos in 2014 . In 2015, he attended the 11th Zurich Film Festival with the film Amateur Teens .
From the 2017/18 season he will be part of the Theater Kanton Zürich ensemble .
From the 2018/19 season he is co-director of the AG Theater Rämibühl (agtheater.ch)
