União the Freguesias de Vide e Cabeça just Vide e Cabeça is a Portuguese parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Seia , in District of Guarda . It covers an area of ​​56.48 km² and has 765 inhabitants (as of 2011 figures).

The municipality was created in the course of the municipal reorganization of Portugal after the municipal elections on September 29, 2013, as a merger of the previous municipalities of Cabeça and Vide .

Vide became the official seat of the new municipality, while the former municipal administration in Cabeça was retained as a citizens' office.
