União the Freguesias de Santa Marinha e São Martinho , short Santa Marinha e São Martinho , is a Portuguese parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) of Seia , in District of Guarda . It covers an area of ​​15.08 km² and has 1636 inhabitants (as of 2011 figures).

The municipality was created in the course of the municipal reorganization of Portugal after the municipal elections on September 29, 2013, as a merger of the previous municipalities of Santa Marinha and São Martinho .

Santa Marinha became the seat of the new municipality, while the municipal administration of São Martinho was retained as a citizens' office.
