Joachim Boldsen

Joachim "tractor" Boldsen [ joˈakɪm boːlsn ] (born April 30, 1978 in Helsingør ) is a former Danish handball player who played in the Danish national team. Most recently he played for the Danish club KIF København .

Career

Boldsen's career began at Helsingør IF (1983-1997). He then came to SG Flensburg-Handewitt on December 18, 2001 via GOG Gudme (1997–1999), TV Großwallstadt (1999–2001) and Ajax Farum (2001).

Boldsen is 1.87 m long and weighs 99 kg. Boldsen had jersey number 23 in Flensburg. He has played 186 international matches for Denmark. At the European Handball Championship in Norway in 2008 he was European champion .

After the 2006/07 season he moved to the Danish first division club AaB Håndbold , where he only stayed a year before he was signed by FC Barcelona in 2008 . From the summer of 2010 Boldsen played for the Danish club AG København . After AGK went bankrupt in July 2012, Boldsen was without a contract. He then joined KIF København . After the 2013/14 season, he ended his career there.

Joachim Boldsen married his long-time girlfriend Nancy in the summer of 2006. They have a daughter (Fleur) together.
