Joachim Burkhardt
Joachim Burkhardt (born January 21, 1933 in Borna ) is a German television journalist, writer and playwright.
Life
Burkhardt, son of the lawyer Rudolf Burkhardt and his wife Hildegard geb. Scholl, studied theology, journalism and German studies and in 1961 at the Free University of Berlin with a thesis on the crisis of the seal as a theological problem for Dr. phil. PhD.
He worked for the television broadcaster Deutsche Welle TV , most recently as head of the coordination department, where he was responsible for numerous television features .
Since the 1960s he has published novels, short stories as well as plays and theological texts. In his 1993 book Meißen - Meine Stadt , he tells of his youth in Meißen .
