Joachim Christian von Ehrenburg
Joachim Christiani von Ehrenburg (born October 7, 1628 in Greifswald ; † January 2, 1695 ) was a German lawyer.
Life
Ehrenburg was a son of the archdeacon Alexander Christian Ehrenburg in Greifswald. He attended school in Greifswald and Hamburg and studied from 1650 at the universities of Tübingen , Strasbourg , Gießen , Königsberg and Greifswald . After graduating as Dr. jur. utr. he was appointed judicial and court judge for the duchies of Bremen and Verden by the Swedish King Karl X. Gustav in 1659 . In 1668 he became vice director of the court, 1674 director of the judicial college, 1675 councilor, 1688 chancellor and president of the colleges and the consistory .
