Joachim Paul Hasebrook (born July 2, 1963 in Sulingen ) is a German psychologist and university professor.

Life

Hasebrook studied psychology and computer science at the Philipps University of Marburg from 1985 to 1991 . After completing his degree, he did his doctorate from 1991 to 1994 at the Institute for Educational Psychology at the University of Giessen on the subject of “Learning aids in multimedia learning systems”. He developed expert systems for career and study orientation for the Federal Employment Agency and completed management training at the Goizueta Business School of Emory University , Atlanta. In 2000 he founded and managed e-learning and IT companies with the participation of the major Frankfurt banks. He completed his habilitation in applied computer science at the Graz University of Technology in 2002 with the thesis "Learning Support Systems for Organizational Learning". He was then appointed to a professorship for “ E-Learning and Work Design” at the University of Lübeck and took over the academic management of the International School of New Media . Today Hasebrook holds the chair for Human Capital Management at the Steinbeis University Berlin and is academic director of the zeb.business school at the Steinbeis University Berlin. Hasebrook is also a management consultant at zeb .
