Joachim Pasche
Joachim Pasche (* 1527 in Neuruppin ; † August 30, 1578 in Wusterhausen / Dosse ) was a Protestant clergyman and court preacher in Brandenburg .
Life
Joachim Pasche was a son of the captain and economic administrator Martin Pasche and his wife Gertrud Rehefeld. He studied in Brandenburg, Wittenberg and Frankfurt . On the recommendation of Johannes Agricola , Pasche became court preacher to Elector Joachim II in 1557. In 1566 he took over the post of provost at the Nikolaikirche in Berlin , which he lost again in 1576, perhaps due to Andreas Musculus objecting to Joachim Pasche because of his lack of a doctorate or because of his relatives Pasches with Anna Sydow , the Elector's lover. In 1576 he was sent to Wusterhausen as an inspector (superintendent).
Joachim Pasche was married to Elisabeth Sydow, a daughter of the skin man Nicolai Sydow in Zossen . The following sons are reported:
- Joachim (1563–1618), pastor in Zittau
- Nicolaus († 1623)
- Martin (1565–1626), lawyer and mayor of Berlin
- Benedict (1568-1638)
