Joachim Sigismund Ditlev Knuth
Count Joachim Sigismund Ditlev Knuth-Conradsborg (born June 15, 1835 in Lindersvold , † October 19, 1905 ) was a Danish diplomat .
Life
Joachim Sigismund Ditlev Knuth was a son of the bailiff and chamberlain Hans Schack Knuth and his wife Frederikke Sophie Elisabeth Knuth, nee de Løvenørn .
In 1854 Knuth became a student in Frederiksborg . In 1860 he graduated as cand. Polit. In the same year Knuth became an assistant in the Ministry of Finance, in 1867 he became an attaché in Berlin . In 1863 Knuth became legation secretary in Saint Petersburg , 1870 in Stockholm , and 1871 in Paris . In 1881 one of the Danish delegates was at the electricity congress in Paris. In 1884 he was envoy in Vienna , in 1890 in Rome , and in 1894 he was also envoy extraordinary in Madrid . In 1895 he took his leave.
In 1887 Knuth was appointed commander of the Dannebrog Order 2nd degree, in 1892 1st degree.
