The Gmina Trzeszczany is a rural municipality in the powiat Hrubieszowski of the Lublin Voivodeship in Poland . Its seat is Trzeszczany Pierwsze (until 1999: Trzeszczany ) with a total of 928 inhabitants (2011).

geography

The rural community covers an area of ​​90 square kilometers, 80% of which is used for agriculture and 13% for forestry. The main town of the municipality is located about 14 kilometers west of the district town of Hrubieszów.

The municipality belonged to the Zamość Voivodeship from 1975 to 1998 .
