Joanna Parker (* 10. June 1987 in Chertsey (Surrey) as Joanna Parker ) is a British table tennis player . She took part in the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
Career
Joanna Drinkhall is the daughter of former British top players Donald Parker and Jill Hammersley-Parker .
Since 2004, Joanna Drinkhall took part in eight world championships (until 2012) . She never came close to medals. In 2010 she won bronze at the Commonwealth Games mixed with Paul Drinkhall . In 2012 she was nominated by the British Table Tennis Federation for the Summer Olympic Games .
To date (2012) Joanna Drinkhall has won nine titles at the English Championships : 2009 and 2010 in singles, 2008, 2010 and 2011 in doubles with Kelly Sibley and from 2008 to 2012 in mixed with Paul Drinkhall .
Activities in Germany
In 2004 Joanna Drinkhall joined the 3B Berlin club , whose women's team played in the 2nd Bundesliga and with which she was champions in the 2005/06 season. Then she moved to the first division TTK Anröchte , where she was still active in 2010.
Private
On August 9, 2013, she married the English table tennis player Paul Drinkhall , with whom she has had a son since 2015.
