Joanna Pacitti
Joanna Pacitti (* 6. October 1984 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is an American pop-rock - singer and actress .
She was born in Philadelphia in 1984 as the daughter of parents Stella and Joseph Pacitti. At the age of 11 she was selected for the title role in the musical Annie for the 20th anniversary tour. After 106 appearances, she fell ill and was replaced by her substitute actress just before the musical was performed on Broadway . In 1997 she played in the concert group The Broadway Kids , a group of changing 8 to 16 year old children who have played in a Broadway, Off-Broadway or major tour production. At the North Carolina Theater she played in 1999 in the play The Secret Garden , in 2001 and 2002 the role of Dorothy in the play The Wizard Of Oz (see the children's book The Wizard of Oz ).
At the age of 16, she signed a contract with A&M Records . In 2003, she starred in First Year of the fourth season of the documentary series MTV's True Life . In 2005 she played the role of Amber in the episode Sex and the Single Girls of the American film series Hello Holly .
In May 2006, their first single, Let It Slide, was released by Geffen Records . Her debut album This Crazy Life was released on August 15th of the same year. Her contract with Geffen Records ended in November 2007.
