Jochen Siedl
Jochen "Joey" Siedl (born August 20, 1979 in Neunkirchen ) is a German musician and author.
biography
Siedl is the grandson of the national soccer player Gerhard Siedl . Although his father was also a footballer, Jochen Siedl decided to become a musician in 1992. At the age of 13 he learned to play the guitar. Today he works as a guitar teacher at several music schools in Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate .
Since 2011 he has been the live guitarist of Paul Di'Anno in Germany and surrounding countries (Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Czech Republic). Shortly after joining, he began to write his own songs with Paul Di'Anno, which ultimately led to the formation of an independent band called Architects of Chaoz, including Di'Anno as a singer , from the live backing band The Phantomz . The demo produced in 2014, which was only made for the press and record companies, became demo of the month in German Rock Hard magazine and received otherwise positive reviews in the press. On May 29, 2015, Architects of Chaoz's debut album called "The League of Shadows" was released through the Metalville record company in Rough Trade distribution. The first work also received consistently good reviews in the press. Architects of Chaoz celebrated their live premiere at the Rock Hard Festival in Gelsenkirchen, recorded by the WDR Rockpalast .
Before that, he played in the German band Cheeno, which has so far released two CDs through Prevision Records, a sub-label of the record company Supreme Chaos Records . For the Cheeno debut album he published his first novel, which also bears the title of the album "The next step will be the hardest". Before that, he played in the band Autumnblaze , with whom he released two albums on the Prophecy Productions label and played several tours and festivals.
He also works with the heavy metal band Angels Cry, which he founded in 1994 with his school friend Alex Landenburg ( Axxis , Luca Turilli's Rhapsody ) and others.
He is married and has a daughter.
