Autumn Blaze (ger .: Fall Inferno ) is a melancholic rock / metal band from Illingen in 1996 by Markus Baltes and Christian Seibert was founded and initially was only studio and side project to his main band Paragon of Beauty. Autumnblaze's music is very difficult to assign stylistically. While melancholic / melodic epic metal was still played on the first album, DämmerElbenTragödie (1999), the tide turned with the second album, Bleak (2000), which, dominated by melancholy, gloomy, claustrophobic doom metal / trip-hop - Sounds more like a mixture of Katatonia and Portishead .
In spring 2002 the album Mute boy Sad girl followed . The trip-hop beats were pushed more and more into the foreground and people worked more and more with experimental keyboard and piano sounds. The album was named album of the month in the German music magazine Orkus .
In the fall of the same year, shortly before a joint tour with The 3rd and the Mortal , Ewigheim and The Loveless, an MCD entitled Lighthouses was released . Almost exactly one year later, on the occasion of a tour with Antimatter, the acoustic album The Mute Sessions was released, on which selected pieces by Bleak and Mute boy Sad girl could be heard in unplugged versions.
In 2004, the album Words are not what they seem was released. For the first time after twilight tragedy , Autumnblaze were in the studio as a real band. The album contained an interpretation of the Twin Peaks theme song Falling .
In October 2006, the band's founder, Markus Baltes, broke up the band, but announced a reunion with co-founder Christian Seibert in May 2008.
In 2009 the last album Perdition Diaries for Prophecy Productions was released in this constellation . The band decided to record and finance the next album on their own. This is how Every sun is fragile came about in 2013 , recorded in the Greywolf studio and released via Pulverized Records.
After a long silence around the band, the single Philia surprisingly appeared in December 2018 as a digital release on all relevant platforms.
