Jochen Struwe (born March 2, 1956 in Essen ) is a German management consultant and professor of corporate management , accounting and controlling .

Life

Jochen Struwe studied at the University of Heidelberg and the Technical University of Darmstadt and graduated in 1982 with a degree in industrial engineering . He then assisted and did his doctorate with Bert Rürup in the finance department of the TH Darmstadt. In 1990 he started his own business as a management consultant. Among other things, he is a member of the Steering Committee and deputy chairman of the Rhine-Main regional group of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung's managerial group and an expert in the pro bono initiative MittelstandPlus .

From 1989 to 2001 Struwe was active in local politics in the district town of Heppenheim and in the district of Bergstrasse (including a district councilor and city ​​councilor , parliamentary group chairman and committee chairman). In 1998 he ran for election to the 14th German Bundestag .

In 2002 he took over a professorship at the Birkenfeld Environmental Campus of the Trier University of Applied Sciences and represents the chair there for corporate management, accounting and controlling. He is a member of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation's selection committee . Struwe is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for the Promotion of Talented Students and Young Scientists (Scholarship Foundation) of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate .

Struwe is a member of the university teachers' association , vice-president of the federal association and deputy state chairman of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Jochen Struwe is a member of the SPD . In 2002 he was awarded the letter of honor from the State of Hesse .
