Work (selection)

Theurer writes on legal and theoretical topics as well as on the subject of time management for lawyers .

The art of dealing with laws - a journey to the limits of law

In the non-fiction book , Theurer explores the question of why not all violators of the law are adequately punished. He sees one of the main reasons for this in the nature of the legal method itself. Since there is usually never a logically correct solution to legal questions, the persons involved in the prosecution could incorporate non-legal motives unnoticed in their work (e.g. the judge who is short of time and who only agrees to a " deal " so that he can get the complex and lengthy white-collar crime off the table quickly). The Freiburg law professor Michael Pawlik criticized in the FAZ . That Theurer hardly goes into the "mechanisms, their achievements and dangers", which provide for the "legal entanglement of security and uncertainty, stability and openness" and calls the book a " missed chance ".

Time management for lawyers: Less stress - more efficiency - more free time

In the guide, Theurer presents time management strategies especially for lawyers and attorneys, tax consultants and auditors. He is of the opinion that the usual time-saving tips are not sufficient for these professional groups due to the professional rules and the high economic pressure. One focus of the book is on how to independently develop strategies for individual time problems and then successfully implement them in everyday professional life.
