Jochen Weigl (born April 21, 1971 in Haag in Upper Bavaria ) is a former German soccer player and coach.

Player career

He was active at SpVgg Greuther Fürth , 1. FC Nürnberg and SSV Reutlingen , among others . Weigl played a total of 108 games in the 2nd Bundesliga (7 goals) and 11 Bundesliga games (1 goal). Weigl was best known for his excellent game overview and his willingness to run.

Jochen Weigl has been playing in the national league at SV Nehren since the 2008/09 season and is bringing his career to a close with two other former professionals ( Domenico Sbordone and Kurt Kremm ) there.

Coaching career

In the summer of 2010, Weigl became a playing assistant coach at SV Nehren.
