Joe Flaherty
Joe Flaherty (* 21st June 1941 in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania as Joseph O'Flaherty ) is an American comedian and film actor .
Joe Flaherty came to Chicago in the mid-1960s and played there with the theater group The Second City and also took part in their radio shows. In 1974 he went to Toronto to join the newly formed Second City theater company. Here he worked as a writer and actor on the troupe's sketch comedy television shows from 1976 to 1984. From 1990 he played the father Fred in the sitcom Maniac Mansion . From 1997 he was seen as Commandant Stuart Hefilfinger in the series Police Academy . From 1999 to 2000 he played Harold Weir in the series Voll besides, full in life .
In total, he participated in over 100 mostly humorous productions.
