Joe Loprieno (born October 8, 1986 in Bloomington , Illinois ) is an American ice hockey player who was last under contract with the Bakersfield Condors in the ECHL .
Career
Joe Loprieno began his career as a hockey player with Chicago Steel, for which he was active from 2004 to 2006 in the junior league United States Hockey League . He then played for three years for the team of Merrimack College in the University League Hockey East , where he was active in his senior season as a team captain .
There the defender was able to convince, so that he then received a contract with the Worcester Sharks from the American Hockey League , for which he made his professional ice hockey debut in the 2009/10 season . For the 2011/12 season Loprieno was obliged by the Bakersfield Condors from the ECHL and appeared again as team captain.
