Johan Andersson (born May 2, 1987 in Nynäshamn ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Rungsted IK in the Danish Metal Ligaen since July 2015 .

Career

Johan Andersson began his career as an ice hockey player in the youth department of Södertälje SK , for whose professional team he made his debut in the Elitserien , the top Swedish division, in the 2005/06 season . In this season, the team rose to the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan . Although the center achieved immediate resurgence in the Elitserien with the SSK, he himself remained in the HockeyAllsvenskan, in which he was then on the ice for one year for Hammarby Hockey and two seasons for Almtuna IS . There he developed into one of the leading players, whereupon he received a contract with AIK Solna for the 2010/11 season .

For the 2011/12 season Andersson was committed by Elitserien participant Timrå IK . Between 2012 and 2014, the Swede was again on the ice for his youth club Södertalje in the second-rate HockeyAllsvenskan , before playing for AIK in the 2014/15 season . In the summer of 2015, the attacker switched to Rungsted IK in the Danish Metal Ligaen .

International

For Sweden Andersson took part in the U18 World Junior Championship in 2005 , where he won the bronze medal with his team.
