Johann Beer Literature Prize

The Johann Beer Literature Prize (also Johann Beer Prize ) is an Austrian literary prize that has been awarded by the Upper Austrian Medical Association and Deutsche Bank since 2009 . It is named after the writer and composer Johann Beer .

Johann Beer Literature Prize

The Johann Beer Literature Prize is awarded annually to the work of an Austrian author who “talks about the imponderables of life and dealing with existential demands and needs in an outstanding way, both aesthetically and in terms of content,” as the co-founders Gustav Ernst and Karin did Name Fleischanderl . The award is endowed with 7,000 euros.
