Johann Andreas Grammlich
Johann Andreas Grammlich (born July 1, 1689 in Stuttgart , † April 7, 1728 in Stuttgart) was a Protestant author and songwriter.
Grammarly was the son of a church councilor and registrar at the consistory . He attended the monastery schools in Blaubeuren and Bebenhausen and studied at the University of Tübingen . Then he was the administrator of the Preceptorate in Bebenhausen near Tübingen. In 1716 he became court chaplain in Stuttgart at the court of Duke Eberhard Ludwig .
Some of his songs were included in the "Geistreiches Hausgesangbuch" by Johann Jakob Rambach in 1735 . His edification books were reissued until the 1850s. In addition to his German edification writings, Grammlich also wrote some Latin theological treatises.
