Johann Baptist Dilger

Johann Baptist Dilger (born February 24, 1814 in Munich ; † March 10, 1847 there ) was a Bavarian draftsman and lithographer .

Dilger studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich from November 1836 . Around 1839/1840 he was a member of the Munich Art Association and gave drawing lessons. He is considered a picture chronicler of the Biedermeier period .
