Johann Baptist Xavery
Johann Baptist Xavery (* thirtieth March 1697 in Antwerp ; † 19th July 1742 in The Hague ) was a Dutch sculptor of the Baroque .
Xavery was the son of the sculptor Albertus Xavery , with whom he also learned his craft in Antwerp.
His travels took him through Italy and to Vienna , where he perfected his craft. Later, on his return to the Netherlands , he became a sculptor at the court of Prince William IV of Orange .
Xavery mainly designed stowage in terracotta , ivory and wood . He was also known as a painter .

- Grave of Count Johan Paulinus Lillienstedt in Stralsund's St. Mary's Church , which is considered the most important baroque marble sculpture in Pomerania (1732)
