Johann Carl Haeseler , also Carl Häseler (* December 27, 1773 in Braunschweig ; † July 25, 1842 ibid) was a German engraver , engraver and etcher as well as die cutter and medalist .

Haeseler was the son of the gold and silver worker Johann Daniel Haeseler. In 1794 he engraved a portrait of his sovereign, the Prince of Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel , Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand , Duke of Braunschweig and Lüneburg , among others . In 1799 he is referred to as a gold worker, since 1805, according to the entries in the address books, he was first a gold jeweler and then an engraver.

On July 22, 1814, Haeseler was initially employed as an assistant to the coin engraver Georg Heinrich Krull at the Braunschweig Mint. There he created a medal in memory of Friedrich Wilhelm von Braunschweig-Wolfenbüttel, who died in the battle of Quatre-Bras . His works also include a bust of Luther with reliefs from his life and a tin cast for the Reformation Festival in 1817.
