Johann Christoph Heintze

Johann Christoph Heintze (* 1696 in Wittenburg ; † September 3, 1747 in Güstrow ) was a German medic.

Life

Johann Christoph Heintze enrolled at the University of Rostock in 1717 and studied human medicine . On November 21, 1719 he was chaired by Georg Detharding with a dissertation De Erotomania , From the sickness because one is in love to Dr. med. PhD.

He settled as a general practitioner in Güstrow , but renewed his enrollment at Rostock University regularly until 1732.

Duke Christian Ludwig II of Mecklenburg-Schwerin appointed him court counselor .

His daughter Magdalene Luise Heintze (1734–1799) married the theologian Georg Detharding in 1756 , a grandson of his doctoral supervisor .
