Johann Franz Felix Karl Graf von Nesselrode-Ehreshoven (* April 25, 1754 ; † 1816 ) was canon in Eichstätt, Münster, Liège and Hildesheim.

Life

Origin and family

Johann Franz Felix Karl von Nesselrode zu Ehreshoven was born as the son of Karl Franz von Nesselrode (1713–1798) and his wife Anna Freiin von Loe (1721–1794) of the Westphalian noble family von Nesselrode . From this, which had its headquarters from 1396 to 1921 in Ehreshoven Castle , numerous bailiffs and councilors in Bergisch services as well as canons and canons emerged. Johann's father was a secret councilor of the Electorate of Bavaria, Minister of State and Conference, magistrate von Steinbach, ducal Jülich-Berg chancellor. His brother Karl Franz (1752–1822) was a Prussian major general and a knight of the St. Joseph Order . His brother Wilhelm was married to Luise von Gontard. His uncle Franz Bertram resigned in December 1777 and left the prebend in Liège to him . On January 12, 1786 the revolt as Canon of Hildesheim took place. As the owner of Baesweiler , he was sworn up to the Jülich knighthood in 1779.
