Johann Friedrich Nerlich

Johann Friedrich Nerlich (often: Friedrich Nerlich ; † 1855 or later) was a German organ builder in Stralsund .

Life

Friedrich Nerlich possibly took over the workshop of Christian Kindt's successors in Stralsund . A first new organ is known from 1836, the last from 1855. This year his colleague Matthias Fernau probably took over the workshop. The date of his death is uncertain.

Johann Friedrich Nerlich built organs especially in northern Western Pomerania . Some of them have been preserved.
