Johann Friedrich Schroth
Johann Friedrich Schroth (* 1736 in Leipzig , † April 11, 1803 in Vienna ) was an Austrian sculptor .
He worked in Vienna and produced a. a. Statues for the furnishings of Eszterházy Castle in Fertőd (1774/77) and for the high altar of the parish church of Raabs an der Thaya (1778).
His sons were the sculptors Josef Ignaz Schroth (1764–1797) and Jacob Schroth (1773–1831).
