Johann Garber works with a wide variety of artistic media and techniques. He dedicates himself to drawing , painting , photography , the design of objects and the artistic transformation of his environment. Representations of paradisiacal worlds can be found in Garber's sometimes large-format and densely designed ink drawings . The focus of his drawings is nature , which spreads over his leaves in depictions of people, celestial bodies, flora and fauna. In contrast to the black and white of his ink drawings, Garber creates objects with vivid colors that he either collects and reworks or creates himself. The interaction of these opposing creative areas of the artist can be experienced in cross-media room installations .
