Johann Georg Heinrich von Werthern
Imperial Count Johann Georg Heinrich von Werthern (born January 19, 1735 , † August 27, 1790 at Beichlingen Castle ) was a Prussian secret minister of state and Grand Maitre de la Garderobe.
Life
origin
He was the son of Count Georg II von Werthern (1700–1768) and Countess Jacobine Henriette von Flemming .
Career
From November 19, 1766, von Werthern was Stiftskanzler zu Zeitz as well as a real secret councilor. From 1770 he was envoy in Paris. On November 18, 1772, King Friedrich II appointed him Prussian secret minister of state, Grand-Maitre de la Garderobe and awarded him the Order of the Black Eagle . Von Werthern was dismissed as Minister on March 23, 1777 at his request.
family
On November 2, 1762 he married Johanne Sophie Louise Friederike von Buchwald (* 1740; † January 3, 1764) daughter of Juliane Franziska von Buchwald . After her death, on April 2, 1777, he married Christiane Benedictine Johanna von Globig (* 1759), daughter of the privy councilor Hans Gotthelf von Globig (1719–1779). Both marriages were childless.
