Johannes Geppert
Johannes Justus Geppert (* 1820 in Stettin ; † April 16, 1890 in Berlin ) was a German lawyer and parliamentarian.
Life
Johannes Geppert studied law at the University of Halle . In 1842 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Halle . He established himself as a lawyer in Berlin. Later he also became a notary.
From 1849 to 1852 Geppert sat for the constituency Berlin 2 in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the right-wing faction . From 1850 to 1852 he was First President of Parliament.
He was married to Anna Clara Auguste, née Geppert. His son was the district judge Walther Johannes Geppert (1867-1924).
