Ruckasing is a part of the municipality of Osterhofen in the Deggendorf district in Bavaria .

Location and accessibility

Ruckasing is located about two kilometers southwest of the municipality of Winzer and is connected to it by state road 2115.

history

Ruckasing was one of the possessions of the Niederaltaich monastery from time immemorial and in the 13th century was listed under the vogue-free estates of this monastery. Mainly there was livestock farming. When the municipal edict of 1818 came into force, the municipality of Aicha an der Donau , initially consisting of three villages, was created . a. also ruckasing. In 1830 the place consisted of 13 houses and had 100 inhabitants. Ecclesiastically, Ruckasing was assigned to the parish of Osterhofen. As part of a regional reform, Aicha and its districts came to the city of Osterhofen on May 1, 1978.
