Johann Gottlob Tamitius
Johann Gottlob Tamitius (* 1738 ; † 1819 ) was a German organ builder.
Life
Johann Gottlob Tamitius was the son of the well-known Zittau organ builder Johann Gottlieb Tamitius (1691–1769) and Christiana Eleonore Cadner . He continued the family tradition in the third generation.
Works
- 1770 Repair of the old organ in the parish church of St. Maria Magdalena von Großmergthal , which had been looked after by his father since 1748.
- 1772 Deutsch Gabel , change of disposition of the organ of Tobias Franz Fleck (* 1618, † July 14, 1698 Böhmisch Kamnitz ) from the sv. Vavřince ( St. Laurentius -) Church, after the expansion there and incorporation into the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Schönlinde .
- 1772 Deutsch Gabel , new building in the sv. Vavřince Church together with his brother-in-law Leonhard Balthasar Schmahl (* 1729 Heilbronn ; † 1779 Zittau ). The organ was equipped with two manuals , 12 registers and a mechanical action mechanism.
- 1785 Repair of the organ in the Church of St. Maria Magdalena in Schönlinde
