Johann Gymnich IV. (* Around 1570 in Cologne ; † 1634 there ) was a German printer and publisher in Frankfurt am Main and Cologne.

Johann Gymnich IV. Was the first-born son of Johann Gymnich III. (1547-1606). First he settled in Frankfurt / Main around 1597 as a printer. After the death of his father, his mother remarried. After his father's financial situation had been settled, Johann moved back to Cologne. He founded a publishing company in the house "Zum Bären at the high forge". The publishing house was renamed "Zum Einhorn" in 1614. Around this time he became a member of the goldsmith's guild and in 1613 was elected to the city council of Cologne. At the same time he became a member of the Achatius Brotherhood. In 1634, shortly before his death, he was again councilor in Cologne. He had a branch in Munster, but worked most of the time in Cologne. Together with his brother-in-law Johann Kinckius and his stepfather Anton Hierat, he managed the publishing house. The publishing house employed a number of well-known engravers, including Abraham Hogenberg. Well over 100 printed products are attributed to him.
