Life

After completing his academic career, he was for a time deputy principal in Helmstedt and Koventuale of the Mariental monastery . He later became rector in Zellerfeld , then in Osterode am Harz , from where he was called to Blankenburg as a garrison preacher. At the same time he became rector of the grammar school there, ducal Braunschweig consistorial councilor, prior of the Michaelstein monastery , vice superintendent and from 1802 superintendent in Blankenburg.
